What I Love About My Home


I love that it is in a populated neighborhood but feels like it's out in the country. I also really really love my bathroom.

This could have been a winner if it weren't for picture 3 and 4. Wish they could have been replaced by pics of the kitchen and bathroom which I'm sure are beautiful.

Thanks, everyone! Claire, all of the linens are vintage. I agree, I need pics of the bathroom and kitchen but they are so tiny it's hard to capture. I love my bath because it's got a window with beautiful light and a view and it just feels great, not necessarily because its pretty :)

Love the rustic-chic style you have going in this place. If my husband would let me, I'd buy a cowhide rug for our (admittedly) soft and feminine dining room. I think it would toughen it up.

I was so excited to see the bathroom Scarlett lovingly mentioned...what a shame it isn't pictured. Great use of the space though. And love the duality of the urban atmosphere and country escape!

Points for the hand sketch that includes door openings!

I spent some time on another entry trying to figure out how the floorplan was working - no doors shown on the sketch.

This sketch is crude, but it has LOTS of great information in it. Good job! (says the person who sketches buildings in order to draw them on the computer...)
