What I Love About My Home

Though my apartment is in the city, all windows face an internal green courtyard and it is really quiet. Downtown is just a 5 minute walk - but inside my apartment it feels really peaceful.

Biggest Challenge in Furnishing My Home

Finding furniture and storage solutions for utilising the long and narrow entry hall was one of the biggest challenges.

Are those wall papers? They're cool!

Thanks :-)

Yes, they're photo wall papers. One of my first purchases for the apartment.

Really really like the wallpaper. Very surreal. Makes what could have been a bland space so special, and that you used 2 different ones is really cool, playing with scale for the public and private rooms. I especially like the contrast between the masculine stone and your feminine possessions, and the double-take of " how's that hanging there ?" Nice, Nikki !

Wow, I thought those were real stone walls. We have one in our family room and I am not fond of it. I was excited to see how you'd handled yours and sorta got a new attitude about ours. :-)

I love the whimsy iin this apartment. The icy colors, the wallpaper, the stuffed animal deer head! Wait, I just realized... wow. This is a fun apartment.

Can I buy the image you used for the living room? I NEED that in my house. :)

I thought the "stone wall" behind your bed is real! Then I saw the above comments, I realised it is wall paper! And then I looked at that pic again, I STILL think that it's real! hahaha

I knew the stone wall in the living room is just wall paper... but you got me for the bedroom one :)

And yes, it doesn't look like your apartment is in the city. Very nice overall!
I love it!

I just love everything here - how can so much "stone" be in a place that is such a cozy refuge? Don't know, but it sure is. Thank you for sharing!

Do you house swap? It would be be fun to stay there! Of course, almost no one wants to visit Kansas so I'm probably out of luck anyway. :-)

@ralapack
I'm unsure if I am allowed to put a link on here to the manufacturer's website, but you can find the wallpaper I used in the living room on ebay. Just search for "black and white stonewall".
