it's the first place i've lived in on my own without roommates!

Biggest Challenge in Furnishing My Home


i really love chairs and lamps, but there are only so many chairs and lamps you can put in a 475 sq. ft. space. that, and financial constraints! (i'm a student.)

Echoing hotpaprika - a GREAT first apartment. I love the pink, white, lavendar color scheme - very fresh and not something you see everywhere. I LOVE the teapot - I don't think I've ever seen one that color before!!!

Now we're talkin'! Great job. Have you ever switched the living area with the bed area? I know it is probably because of the window placement that you chose to do it this way, but I was just wondering if you would get more "visual space" by putting the living area by the entrance to the room. Love your home!

I love your space! I am also a student who has a place without roommates for the first time. I know first hand how frustrating it can be to have amazing ideas for your home, but not enough funds to carry them out. I think you have done a wonderful job though and could totally imagine myself living here, probably because we have so many similar elements!

Where did you get your floral rug from? I love the colors.
