260What I Love About My Home
When I was apartment hunting, a modern, clean kitchen with plenty of storage was at the top of my must-have list. The marble countertops and brand new stainless steel appliances do so much for the small space. Even though the apartment is, in terms of square footage, teeny tiny, the space feels open yet cozy, full of accessories yet uncluttered.
Biggest Challenge in Furnishing My Home
One of the biggest challenges was shopping for furniture that would fit the scale of the space. When I moved into this apartment almost a year ago, I luckily only came with my dresser, mini bar, and coffee table. I was able to buy everything else new to fit the apartment. I wanted plenty of seating to entertain a small group of friends yet didn't want it to always feel cluttered. I like how each piece of furniture fits perfectly in its space. Keeping the palette neutral was also difficult -- I love color! But even a colorful comforter would overwhelm the space. Instead, nearly everything is neutral and the pops of color come through in various accessories.

nice. great that you have youre own space. you don't have to share a larger apartment with someone else.

lovely but two shots wasted on vignettes instead of showing the space. a longer shot showing the space from the windows to the kitchen would be good

WHITE BALANCE! Other than that, it's a lovely space for under 300 sq ft!

Well done. So many uses in a small space, but is not overcrowded.

This is pitch perfect. It's not busy, the proportions are perfect, and you didn't rely on Ikea. Plus the way you staged the accessories: divine.

Looove your apt! It is so cozy, yet not cluttered or cramped. Warm color palette without being too saturated. Just enough color to breathe life into the room.
