What I Love About My Home


Simply this is why I love my Small Cool home: 1. colorful 2. sunlight 3. exposed closet 4. painted headboard 5. super cozy

Biggest Challenge in Furnishing My Home


My biggest challenge was lack of closet space. I have a lot of clothing (tons of dresses) and figuring out what to do with all of them was extremely daunting. I thought about building an additional closet, but was concerned that it might block some of my precious sunlight and also make my already small bedroom seem even smaller. So instead of adding a wall and constructing a new closet, I decided that I would install an elfa system exposed on the wall opposite my bed. My biggest challenge in fact turned into my favorite aspect of the apartment. The exposed closet is not only extremely functional but also, as I am told often by visitors, "looks like a piece of art on the wall!"

Love the color. And I think you have convinced me to get an Elfa system! I didn't think it could hold so much weight. My only question is, what do you do to keep your clothes from getting dusty?
