You're kitchen is really awesome! I love the finishes and the dining banquette.

Brilliant! Cozy and spacious, love the combination of warm colors in the living and bedroom, the classic hallway, and stone kitchen. The hallway lighting is my favorite in the entire AT series on lights. This entry is my favorite by far.

Gorgeous! It's warm and inviting yet dramatic, without being overpowering. A beautiful and unexpected departure from the minimalism of most of the Small Cool entries! If I could vote for this twice, I would. The bedroom is especially stunning.

Your bedroom is gorgeous! I'm curious what is in the picture opposite of the bed, though. It looks exciting with many knobs or drawer pulls? Quite curious and I wish that there were more pictures!

The hallway lighting and grey stone kitchen are gorgeous, and there is something about the bedroom that reminds me of an English country house. Amazing.

Also, I agree with ShadowLotus, that does look exciting. Is it a wall of votives?

I don't even know where to begin to tell you how much I love this. Way to prove that style doesn't necessarily mean trend. Your octopus lightbulb creation makes me smile. The whole place looks like some sort of really fun museum.

i think the house is beautiful. yet now it seems the living room needs an update and clearing.

I'm pleased to see someone using more substantial furnishings in a small space.I love eclectic and maximizing space,but does it have to always resort to dollhouse size pieces and poster art.Your small space shows it doesn't.

Where did you get the light in the foyer from? It is divine and absolutely perfect and gives off SO much light. I am in love with your table and bench seat... wonderful idea and you can seat tons of people. Smart, smart, layout. The moody space is phenomenal.

SO many wonderful touches. Definitely feels like living takes place here. Can you tell us more about the amazing hallway lighting? Your kitchen/dining area is making me swoon. Homey and stylish!

This gets my vote because it doesn't have white kitchen cabinets. The dark, rich colours work really well.

So cozy. Ouch throw some cushions on those hard wooden benches in the kitchen.

Answers: Bedroom is 12'x14'; hall chandelier is the "Edison Chandelier" from, believe it or not, Pottery Barn; IKEA is present - the Billy bookshelves; with exception of the bookcases and the 11-year old sofa, all furniture is resale - including the bed, which my mom bought at a Salvation Army in 1986 for $400; The colors in the living room are Benjamin Moore Ceiling - Meadow View (383), Walls - Porcelain White (239)...Kitchen Walls (same), Banquette - Midsummer Night (2134 -20; it's a deep, warm charcoal)...Hall Ceiling - Alexandria Beige (HC-77). I know the name of the bedroom is "Earthy Sage," but I don't recall the number. It's really a martini olive green.

The banquette is surprisingly comfortable, actually. I'm sitting at it right now! ;)

Oh, and yes, I have 4 iron gate panels with a total of 28 votives on the wall across from my bed. Again, Pottery Barn.

the furniture is not particularly my style but this apartment is so well done I had to click favorite! the layout you created is very persuasive.

The industrial/minimalist "chandalier" in the foyer gives me chills. In a good way. Could easily live in this space.

It is amazing how big your place looks. You have just the right amount of stuff in it, and all great stuff. Your style is wonderful, very refreshing after all the 50s stuff flooding the media. Two thumbs up.
