What I Love About My Home


We love that we've managed to combine ultimate functionality with style and comfort. We don't feel limited by its size at all, whether it's entertaining, cooking, working or just hanging out by ourselves. And every piece has meaning to us and expresses something about us. We absolutely love our home.

Biggest Challenge in Furnishing My Home


Because it's loft-like, there wasn't any storage (not one closet!) when we moved in. So we had to create it every step of the way—our couch is filled with guest linens and winter coats, when we built the loft Danny built cabinets up along the now-accessible ceiling, and we hunted down a TV arm that lets the TV flip vertically and fold flat against the side of a bookshelf when not in use.

Oh my god, that kitchen! I die.

But I wish your floor plan had a little more detail, maybe with blocks for some of the furniture... I like everything I see (especially the artwork in the living room - usually I'd think it was too high, but here it really opens up the space). I'm just having a hard time visualizing how it all fits together.

thanks for all the sweet comments! the loft is in the bedroom. The dining room is right in front of the kitchen, along the far right wall, and the living room is in the biggest, main space. hope that helps!!

wow... this is my favorite apartment so far!
