I love gray but I love all kinds colors, particularly pink. However, I knew Gabriel would never let me decorate the entire room in pink so I settled for just the lamps. We used the grays and yellows in the quilt as a guide to paint and decorate the room.

I don't love the pink, but the bedspread and the chair totally make up for it. I love, love, love grey with yellow. (though the grey looks purple on my computer screen)

Love the room! I have the same bed so I was wondering what did you guys put behind it to be able to put lamps on it?

Loida2082 it's just a lack of the same color so the bed sticks out away from the wall. Now we have shelf area and we can hide things behind the bed under the lack!

@nycpuggirl - I actually don't remember but I think it might be Behr's Anonymous. I know I should have kept a sample but I think I accidently trashed it. Eek, not good. But thanks!

@Loida2082 - it's the Ikea shelf LACK. It works great! We have one behind our couch as well. Since our place is small it works well by creating additional storage behind the bed and couch.
