Green is my fave color and it looks beautiful in this room. I love how serene this looks.

OMG what a fabulous room. I love that calming, serene but not mute pistachio green and I love how you just stuck to green and white with a few little hints of gold or darker shades of green. It's a beautiful room. I could easily fall asleep in it. Added to favourites.

Gorgeous! Green can be so hard to get right, but you did a beautifully elegant job with this room.

Beautiful color, my bedroom is a soft shade of muted green too and I always feel a bit more relaxed when I enter. Wow..I just noticed the little "cubby" style architectural feature near the top of the wall. I love what you did with it, so clever to add those electrified paper lanterns and Chinese lion and Corbel.

Thanks for the comments (and votes), everyone!! Mszia- I'll try to find the paint can this weekend (it's hidden somewhere in storage), and I'll let you know. EC- yep, thats the closet, and I have no idea what it was originally for- I'll ask my landland, maybe he knows!

Love it! The only thing I might add is a little golden picture light over the sepia tree photo. Very calm, relaxing space.

I very rarely like simple and not-much-decorated spaces, but in this one everything feels right somehow. It has the suitable amount of weird to become dreamy and mysterious.

You have a very sure eye, sure hand. Lovely choice of lighting, and the discreet but firm lines of the mirror decoration, lantern, pendant light, photo of the bare trees, etc, contrast wonderfully well with the expanses of soft green and white. Masterly!

Carla, I hope you're able to tackle your basement to find this paint can! This is the exact shade of green I've been researching for, for as long as I can remember!

I don't think love is a strong enough word to describe how I feel about this room!

In case Carla is not able to locate that paint can, my bedroom is painted what appears to be a very similar color, Benjamin Moore's Kittery Point Green, and I absolutely love it. It goes from a pale pistachio color in the bright morning sun (my BR faces east) to a color similar to these pix at mid-day, and then to a richer blue-green at night under artificial light. It's serene and cozy and reminds me of a beach house. Good luck!

New to apartment therapy and loving this contest!! So many inspiring rooms! Carla, the color is amazing. So fresh and serence - perfect for a bedroom. I could seriously relax in here :) Favorite for sure. I'm wondering where you got the lantern. I'm always looking for great accessories, so please tell!!

Hey guys! I found it (the paint can)... it's Benjamin Moore paint matched to a Waverly color called "Sea Grass" (WV35009). Here is a link to the color: http://www.waverly.com/products_information.php?id=WV35009&productType=3

on the can (1 gallon), it's also got this:
YW 0x 23.2500
BK 0x 5.0000
TG 0x 5.2500
GY 0x 4.0000

The lantern is from a fantastic store called Patina- I don't think they carry it anymore but it was around $80... here is a link: http://www.patinastores.com/
I should also mention that the "candles" inside the lantern are one of those mini-pillar-light-strings of faux candles from Restoration Hardware that I stuffed inside the lantern.

Hope this helps, and thanks everyone! :)

I'm not usually a "green" person but, this room is beautiful. I thought the "candles" might be faux... I love the look in that great lantern! I'm going to have to go on a hunt for something similar. The chandelier is also gorgeous and it's great that your Fu dog is the same shade as the walls. It's such a serene space made for relaxation and sleep. Thanks for sharing it!
