Color Inspiration

People like making confessions. They try to find the evidence of their true existence in the way they confess. This space was selected to declare a love to our favorite painter Piet Mondrian. It was he who inspired us to make this confession. The colors may seem bold, daring and somewhat disturbing for the most intimate space in the apartment. But the play of light, color and tactile lines fills the space with emotion and life and the encounter of this sublime emotional experience is always anticipated.

Color Tips

Find your inspiration! Be bold and daring! Experiment with colors and always improve your selections. Act aggressively like a painter and be tolerant to alterations and rework. Strive to perfection and enjoy your work!

Yikes. It's a bit too much for me, very pop-art theme-y, if that make sense. Not my cuppa tea, sorry.

I've never been a fan of Piet Mondrian... I find the artwork too harsh. But I think your room looks awesome. You've really done a great job. And I like your 'color tips'!

This is wonderful, so well done, and it works brilliantly in a bathroom, very clean looking but it still pops. Got my vote!

I like your description and point of view as much as your room, which is courageous and really quite successful. Congratulations!

Despite naming a daughter Piet, I think I'd get really tired really fast with these colors, although I adore the tub and lights in the floor.

I really like this; Mondrian is one of my favorites too! But what I think is best about it is what you pointed out in your description: that you committed to a dramatic public expression of something you both love. That makes it very intimate, I think. And in your final picture with the dim lighting, all the colors become much moodier and "intimate", even romantic. They do that because you chose precisely the right colors for this. Great job, and great use of color!

Wow. I couldn't relax in a bathroom like this. But it's very bold, great job on the tiling.
