I love everything about this home. One-story, modern, clean...it's just about perfect.
This is one of the only homes I've ever seen where stainless steel appliances actually look appro...
I agree with hmr. Used sofas are right up there with used mattresses, shoes and underwear....um, no. No amount of cleaning can remove the "ick" factor for me.
But, hey, if it doesn't ...
Except for the lamps, the "after" is much better than the "before". Black furniture looks dusty about nine seconds after it's dusted.
Even on a budget, I'd bet you can find more suitab...
I don't care about the walls one way or the other. It's the ripple afghan on the bed that I just adore. Gorgeous.
I like the pedestal bed and stuffed headboard too.
I voted Super Cool just for the gorgeous, hand-crocheted afghan on the sofa. Okay, not really, but I do love crocheted afghans.
This place has a comfortable, clean look. I like the woo...
This is such a lovely apartment. Very nicely done.
And this entry should get lots of extra points for showing the bathroom. Most entrants flat-out refuse to show their bathrooms.
I wouldn't have it in my house, but I like it because it reminds me of quilts (I'm a quilter). And this fabric would hide a lot of different kinds of stains. ;)
As long as the size and color of the dresser fits the space its in, why not? Sensible and attractive.
The room in that picture is so pretty and cheerful.
I like the tiles, too. This shade of blue is pleasant and calming. Personally, I'd just go with it, since fighting it would be difficult.
If it was something like pukey green or neon y...
The green wall looks fine with the beige sofa and loveseat. They look to be in decent shape. Could you keep them and return the new olive sofa?
Warm, woodsy colors (like your floor) lo...
We live in a rural community where most people really value their privacy. It's great that most of our neighbors are rarely seen or heard.
However, we recently installed a fence around...
This is a cute idea. Great conversation piece. Only problem would be guests who get too obsessive about this sort of thing.
I like this even better than the skateboard mirror.
The exterior of the home is beautiful. And the woodwork in the dining room is just lovely.
I see what they were going for in the kitchen with the old-style appliances, but...it just lo...
If one is too self-conscious to show the kitchen and bathroom, maybe s/he needs to rethink entering this contest.
Not just this one, but several recent entries as well.
First, paint the bricks and the posts white. That will be a huge improvement right there.
I'd suggest (along with most everyone) that you cover the yellow with white also and leave the...
700 sq ft is small for one person if she has pets or is a packrat. It doesn't seem like a lot of space to store all one's stuff.

The sheer curtains look good, except they're too long. They'd be in the way and get dirty and icky too fast in most homes with children and pets.

"ERESH"? I have no idea what that means. Oh, okay, the link at the bottom of the page says "Fresh". That makes more sense.
We do what JulesDC's parents do - our dog has her own futon. We're allowed to sit on it with her, provided we rub her belly while we're there.

How is this better than sleeping in a ball on the floor? At least that way you wouldn't have to worry all night about falling off the floor.
