Is everything "by design"?
I have an exercise ball, no extra closet, and I use it every day. Therefore it leaves in the room where I use it, the living room. It has nothing to do with design....
There is a long tradition of decorated skulls and such, just think of the Day of the Dead celebrations in many cultures.
