i assume the 'modern' comes from the clean lines and neutral color palattes...plain 'rustic' would probably be more colorful and sentimental - i'm thinking quilts. anyone?

i think over-styled is never good, but certainly everywhere right now. not everyone is a collector so i'd like to see the end of tragically hip flea market finds like typewriters and over-sized adv...
haha. rocker argument aside, i love her use of white in various textures - i think the shiny white finish on her rocker is key to the design - even if you don't want to sit in it.
