You might want to note that this is NOT a replacement in the cinema line - it's a monitor for the MacBook line only. There is no dvi port on the monitor at all, only mini DisplayPort for the new 3...
Just a forewarning - it's not solid aluminum. The top is a thin piece of aluminum on mdf and it dents and scratches all over. It's actually pretty poorly built.
if you read the comments at engadget, and looked at the mini usb port on the bottom you'd probably be able to tell this is a complete fake. That's a five minute CAD model.
it's revolting. especially when you see it from across the river and how it breaks the natural flow of the riverbank. I'm all for object buildings, just poor location.
