Fantastic MrFaux, do you truly mean lowest taste level, or different taste level than your own? I'm from LA, and I'd certainly categorize the styles here as "with more of a sense of humor" than man...
i think it's awfully sweet but could veer into gimmicky unless you style it right. modern, sleek hardware, along with a super updated light fixture would go a long way. and if i was you, i'd hesita...
i'd agree with getting upright chairs, armless would be great-but i'd go for an interesting color like a burnt sienna or amber. or, if you're really bold, purple! what a great find!

does anyone know where I can get one of those victorian profile prints? I'd really love one in my bedroom.
