We keep the quarters in a small jewelry box on the dresser (for laundry) and the rest gets dumped in a vase on top of the refrigerator. It's almost full so I'm loving the suggestions from this post!

I just got a great calendar from the 1970's with different fruit for every month that I plan on tearing up and framing for my kitchen.

I just used that contact paper to cover the inside of my boring, white medicine cabinet. I love it so much, I'm going to frame it and hang it in the living room.
Try the As-Is section at Ikea. Find one there and dye it, or use it as a pattern for your own slipcover. Since you're only using it for a pattern, it doesnt matter what it looks like.
I like the Target print better. If I had to choose one, I'd probably get the IKEA one, buy some fabric that I like and have a pattern to make a new slipcover.

I love that you wrapped hemp around the cord. I'm going to do that with my curtain rod!

I like the idea in theory. It's pretty, but my cat would be right through it.
