I agree w/ bepsf. Neglet and total abandonment seems to make them come back for me. The fatal mistake does seem to be overwatering. Its an automatic death sentence.
It is so refreshing to see a home in FL that has not followed the awful, heavy Spanish/Gaudy Grecian decorating curse and instead has created a very warm inviting place. Nice.

Vicente Wolf has alot of hits...but this is one of his misses. The tables dwarf the seating group.

Really like the antique secretary in the Bath. He often does double tubs in his baths and I love it more everytime I see it.
...and I really wish he'd stop using the same Thai religious artifacts mounted on metal stands in EVERY home he designs.
I'm a huge fan of V.W., however even I have to admit that alot of his designs (for whatever reason) do seem '90s to me. Idk
We have one hanging in the corner of one of our guest rooms. Everyone who stays with us says that it is so much fun and better than a reading chair!
