I would absolutely encourage everyone to try #5- Bookmooch ( www.bookmooch.com ) has become a real life saver for me! I get free (second hand) books all the time now, and it's available everywhere ...
I agree- that top photo is heartbreaking. I hope no children really live there. It looks like a movie set for a room where the big bad kidnappers keep children until their parents pay the ransom.

Yes, it is a great idea. But I'm sure I've seen it on AT at LEAST a half dozen times. This is beyond just one repetition of the idea.
