I use this trick when pulling into work, trying to open the garage door (that way it's open so I can just back right in). Works like a charm. Also works when aimed at your temple.

Perfect, since my iPhone will let me plug the connector in either way, and it will click, and lock. Won't charge both ways though...

I generally use a 50/50 mix of pure rubbing alcohol and water for mine. That was it evaporates a bit more quickly.
