I really like the bedding...and your idea of a color scheme. I do think you should paint the walls a color from the opposite side of the color wheel..a cool tone. Use the reds, pinks and oranges ...
I also love the room...I get really pinked out, having a toddler girl of my own..But the dark and the adult/modern touches really work with the petal pink...its not even nauseating!
