I sleep in the attic of a hundred-year-old house. My electric mattress pad & fingerless gloves (for reading before bed) are the only way I get through the winter!
YEAST BREAD. Pretty much the only thing I use my KitchenAid for, but it was worth every penny. Although the mixer does have a habit of making a run for the counter edge with certain types of dough.
Pan-Seared Tilapia with Chile-Lime Butter. I'm more of a baker than a cook - this is the first thing made on a stovetop that wowed me. And it's super-easy to make.
