This has so many lovely elements and the shrine is gorgeous. I think its inspiring to have dedicated such space to that when there's so little to go around in the studio.
That space...
LOVE it! I love the smooth transition from the starkness of the kitchen, through the clean lines yet warmth of dining area, to the textures and colors of the living room (esp. that hot pink). Bravo!
I also really enjoyed this tour, but also felt the furniture arrangement in the living room was "off", though the pieces are great. I felt like you might work with the symmetry of the fireplace/wi...
Paint is often toted as the cheap decorating fix, but I am lately a big fan of textiles. I've made a pillow cover in the last year; used an awesome $8 Indian tapestry from Jackson Heights, Queens,...
I have the same issue with the legs of a danish modern day bed I got on the cheap recently: the legs screw into the bed/base but either the screws are stripped, or the wood inside the former hole ...
This was the clincher for me: when I realized I would have pushed my budget for my house, or that I could not believe it was not _more_expensive. Meaning, it was the right house for me, I thought ...
I've been mattress shopping for the last month. Almost bought memory foam from overstock, and then another non-tempurpedic brand from a local dealer. Just yesterday I finally settled on a Simmons...

I love this entry. I really commend Eddie for making a studio livable with distinct living areas. Its also clear that he has embraced pieces from all price ranges and can almost always make them ...
I am really surprised that some folks are dismissing this place; its looks ALOT like the other European posts, and quite a bit like many U.S. homes that we have toured. Its a reno with a cool kitch...
I love this house tour and this home: warm, sunny, and interesting renovation, sunlight, bookshelves, wood floors. Fewer plants????? No way. I think this place is just lovely, chair and all.

Love it! Also inspired by the variety and boldness of the accent walls. Also felt the bedrooms might be swapped: a bit more room for mom and dad? ;)

Yay! Awesome tour. What AT is all about; feel like I have not seen something quite so lovely, small, and full of ingenuity in a long time.

I love the color and coziness of this house, the nifty closet office, and I think the writing for this post is fun and funny!
I love this also. I know I am setting myself up for a big "duh" but what makes metallic paint....metallic? Have we discussed it on here before?

Love this! I was JUST eyeing my old blue vintage suitcase and thinking maybe it was time to let it go, BUT now it will be re-purrr-posed!
