ALL THE TIME. Back when I lived in a Bachelor suite that was less than 300sq.ft. When I lived in a roomy 2BR, hardly ever. Now I'm in a smaller 1BR and I have the dream only occasionally.
When you have wood floors cats, it's good to have many rug areas to catch bits of debris. I love clean bare floors on bare feet, but little kitty litter bits and furballs are not so nice.

I was just thinking the same thing - having a bath with the floor at eye level would allow you to see every little hair and debris on the floor!
