Lovely post on okra! I grew up eating it fried for the most part, but here's what I do now: steam it and dip in a garlic soy sauce. Sometimes slimy, but still delicious :)

I wanted a "citrus" feel for the kitchen, so while it's not all color coordinated, there's definitely a running theme for the key items.
I'm with sfmitch about the tiles - it works great, and I love that it's a fraction of the price of a pizza stone.
