I lived in North Carolina for 13 years and boiled peanuts are one of the things I really miss. My grandmother, originally from Georgia, insisted we bring cans of these back up to Massachusetts eve...
This is good to know because they are covering the deck as I type. My Russian landlady has been gathering them up to mull into a fruit punch and I have been picking and freezing them to make a cri...
It all depends what neighborhood you choose to live in. I would never move into a settled, family neighborhood and expect to blast my music all into the night. Heck, I even turn my car radio down...
I've been listening to this podcast for about a month now and it is great. It's funny that I came across it specifically because I have been subscribing to more and more podcasts for interesting t...
I see no problem with this as a cheap alternative. But are you able to stain plywood like regular wood? I could easily see this in a darker stain or a colored one to make it pop out a bit more. ...
Instead of using these bags, why not bring a small insulated lunch bag or cooler for the times you're going to bring raw meat or frozen foods home? If enough people do this, there won't be a need ...
If you're going to do massive amounts of juicing, a machine just seems logical. But I'm not a dedicated juicer so a hand one would work fine for the 1 maybe 2 times a year I would use it.
I'm a roll-up person too. As soon as the adults in the family could trust you with a knife, you were rolling and slicing bundles upon bundles of collard greens at big family gatherings.
A few years ago while looking at small kitchen designs I came across a stainless steel sink/dishwasher combo from Kitchen Aid called the Briva.
I think Unpluggd featured it in 2007.
While most of them do look a little too Austin Powers for my taste, an updated version of that bed/sofa/lounger in the 2nd photo would be nice. It just looks really comfortable.

I understand what you're saying about the cost of not doing it yourself and maybe my brokeness is making the $15k a hard thing to wrap my head around in this day and age. However...
I like the look of these and if they but the high spout does put one off. I just reuse a 5 gallon water cooler jug and bought a $10 dispenser for parties. I have also found plug in water coolers ...
While I like the look of them, I probally wouldn't like my energy bill if the oven is on 24/7. Plus I'm still tweeking my baking skills and would like to look at the food I'm cooking without openi...

This just seems like a tiny vaporizer. I'm just waiting for some 420 friendly hacker to post instructions on how to modify.

I would love to try this out but go small at first, like a table top or something. I also think this would look great as a bar-top.

Yet another vote for triscuits. I love to make little melts out of them with just some tuna salad and sharp cheddar under the broiler.
The TNT birthday cake one would make a great tattoo.
