Oh, I don't think so...what was 80s was all the red oak floors that got pickled and turned to pink! If it's whitewashed with paint, that's totally different (to me, anyway.)
I have less than zero time in the weeks ahead, but I think this is a great opportunity, as a kitchen designer, to really slowly break down some fundamental issues in the kitchen, and to do it, not ...
I'm really glad you guys like it...I haven't been able to get it out of my mind either since August. The walnut is gorgeous, the teak, with a soap finish I saw last week was very, sort of beachy an...
art, please email me for future reference.
Julianna, that's a valid point. I can tell you that the entire product is green, including wood from managed forests, adhesives, and all of ...
I walked into Hansen's Copenhagen showroom in August, and I was so moved by Knud's beautiful, yet simple, design that I immediately resolved to bring these pieces to the U.S. one way or another. So...
Once, a Bosnian friend served me that coffee in these tiny cups. I drank it, it was interesting, and then finished it off, which included all sorts of sediment at the bottom. He laughed, I choked!
What you could do is pick out a great wallpaper just for the backsplash and put plate glass on top of it. This is becoming a wide spread trend, at least in Denmark, where I looked at lots of kitche...
Merry Christmas to you and yours! This may be one of my/our best yet. No extended family obligations (that was last night-fun!) so we've all (7 of us) had so far a combination fun, great, lazy, day...
Red works real well. Or, go the analogous color scheme route and do a soft peacock blue, but tie it in with artwork on the walls. You don't even have to paint the walls. It's fine as is.
I don't know, I can't go down this road, most of the images looked depressing! I did like the one where the people are sitting around a table made of plywood, or something, over two garbage cans. T...
So glad to see this post. Actually, this year, we're having a cozy Christmas Day, much different than usual, when we go out visiting. Rather than being fancy, I'll definitely be putting together so...
I'm the laziest of the lazy...some days I'll take it out, and this is around noon, when often, I'll rummage around for a package of meat of some sort, look in the pantry for jam, tomatoes, soy sauc...
Very, very nice cabinet...and if you're wondering about the name, it's a small island in Denmark (where my grandmother was born!) A fantastic place for a vacation.

I think it's so interesting to see these old pictures. There are many ideas which are only slightly changed today and still look great. Fun stuff.

To me, and I'm all for innovative ideas, it's great from a distance, looks cool and fresh, but up close, it's baaaaaaaad.
I've always wanted a good blender like this one! Smoothies, old fashioned shakes, soups, dips, I'm ready!!!
Very, very elegant....love it.

No, I don't think I can go down that road...I'm all for mixing old and new and all, but there's a limit and this goes beyond, and then some.
