I love the curtains and have been looking for some just like that. Where are they from?

Thanks Hinke! They haven't answered any of the emails that I sent, but I will try those numbers. Thanks! Scout

I posted on here awhile ago about this blue paint (long story short- I'm obsessed with it). Domino had a piece about the garden that said that the gift shop sold the paint. Unfortunately, the pho...

Take your time. I went to 143 open houses (seriously), because I thought that was the best way to see what was out there and get a sense of what things were worth. I knew that we wanted to stay i...

The rope chairs are fabulous! I am looking for something to put in a reading nook, and was wondering if you think those would work. I originally was thinking armchair, but am also a bit too afrai...

I have several antique Syrian wooden mosiac tables that I clean with olive oil. It is very gentle and they look beautiful afterwards. In fact, I suspect that I have just given myself a task for t...

Thanks guys for the suggestions. I totally agree that burning it (we do actually have a fireplace) is the best idea, but our remodeling budget is currently running dry, especially since the blue p...

Not sure if anyone is still checking this thread, but I wanted to let you know that through your help (and the help of a poster on Brownstoner) I did finally find the paint. It is Yves Klein Blue ...

Just to report back, Maryam said that she had a friend that recommended Sydney Harbour/Porter's Paints and that they have a color called "Frieda" that is closeish. She also recommended trying Pant...

Unfortunately, the Ralph Lauren "majorelle blue" paint is not (at least according to the RL website) actually majorelle blue. It seems as though the RL paint is very light and faded, which is pret...

Thanks guys. I have emailed Maryam (I love her blog), and hopefully she will have some sort of secret formula. Otherwise, I think I'm going to have to get something mixed. Deborah,...
