Any recommendations for CSAs in the Indianapolis area? It looks like there are many options, but I don't know how to pick one over the other!

I put a little saucepan on the stove with a tiny bit of water in it and heat it til it's very warm, about a minute. Then I place the butter in it's wrapper on the counter and put the pan upside dow...

Very cool. Must be a strong structure to support all that water weight. Wish there were a mark on the glass at the end of the pool - I'd be nervous about not noticing when to do a fli...

I second eribina's comment - I have been looking for something exactly like the orange hanging pot!

Oo, I love them, especially in spider rolls :)

I love favas. Try them steamed with some butter, salt and pepper. If you plant them in your garden, careful! They can be extremely productive plants with overwhelming crops.

Small half baths can be so useful, so I applaud the use of space. However, there MUST have been tons of work done in there, b/c closets aren't typically plumbed. And if a lot of work was done, then...

I have their plastic storageware set, their cheesegrater, and ramekins, and I love all of them!

Another vote for cast iron and against nonstick. You can probably find pyrex pieces (pie plates, casserole dishes, etc) very, very cheap at thrift stores or garage sales, or free on craigslist.

I was vegetarian for several years in middle school and high school. I never learned to do it correctly, to eat a health vegetarian diet, and I did it all wrong - mostly carbs, very little protein,...

Once I switched the middle of oreo cookies with toothpaste, and gave my brother a plate of them.
