I adore a good nectarine too... but for some reason, my sources here just have crappy ones that are small and tasteless. Which means I might some day have reason to cook nectarines rather than eat ...
My thrifty concern is less with the economic crisis and more with our regular old finances.
I still eat organics especially for produce. I'm making more things from scratch--at least y...
I kind of need to be able to reach the cabinets above the fridge--at least one of the two, which holds our snack & pasta area. So we don't keep much above the fridge--there's an ever present bottle...
I said no. Technically our rice cooker has a nonstick bowl, but I would have gotten a regular bowl if one had been available... it doesn't worry me though, since the rice cooker doesn't see the kin...
You have to be realistic. The danger is not just at first when you guys move in together--it is every single day that the cats and birds live together. Cats can cohabitate safely with large parrots...
If I lived in that apt, I would do whatever it took to get a smaller tv. Sure, a giant flatscreen will look better than a giant big black one, but a smaller tv of any kind will look best.
I'd love to, but I haven't found any cards pretty enough... nor am I inspired or skilled enough (right now) to make my own. I don't see any point in sending out ugly xmas cards, so nope.
Ach... the local election parties feature bands, so I'm skipping that...
having one at home, and procrastinating starting the pre-cooking for tomorrow...

Space is almost of more value than money in my kitchen. So anything that is worth giving up space for, is worth getting high quality. Not top quality, usually, but high quality. After all with a lo...
Man you are so lucky! What a great, (and easy!) problem to have.
First, move the main furniture to the center of the room. It doesn't have to be literally the center, but a central are...
Are there any other (more affordable) wall shelves with upturned edges, or built in book ends, or whatever they should be called--as in most of these pictures? Also hopefully made with real wood...
This is what I do most of the time. It isn't my ideal... but we don't have a dishwasher, and if we clean as we go somehow we *still* end up with a full sink of dirty dishes at the end of the meal.
How about guidelines for cooking frugally yet healthfully and with some diversity?
Cooking definitely saves me money--yet as I get into it I often end up chasing after semi-obscure in...
I'll be using this cure just for repairs, smaller upgrades, and serious decluttering. That's plenty! The plan is to start another cure immediately afterwards--a one room cure of the bedroom. Etc un...

And then put the stuffiness back in ;) It is pretty though.
PS Don't trust the cats, no matter how they behave. Like I said, it's one thing with a bigger parrot. With a cockatiel, forget it.
