As you don't have a battery operated radio, rather than purchasing one, consider purchasing a wind-up radio instead. They don't cost very much (in England, where I am anyway) and as they don't requ...
I have to agree about the pricing - $270 is awful, and at $98 it's still quite pricey for what it is. $50 I'd be willing to pay, but not any more than that.
I asked my mum how much she...
While hiding veggies and other 'good for you' foods kids hate is all well and good, I wouldn't suggest trying it with a recipe they already love. All that will do is lead them to believe the food t...
We have that oven. My mother has forbidden the glass to be lowered except when it's being cleaned. I think she is concerned it will be shattered - either by lowering it while the stove is radiating...
With my luck, I'd end up either a) having the books I read most on the bottom of the pile due to weight/size issues preventing them going higher up or b) my cat would push the stack over and spend ...
Put a lamp on the yellow bookcase by the window - opposite side of the stove to the other two lamps. Or scooch the couch and that side table further towards the entrance-wall, and place a floor lam...
Books stored in a bathroom? D: I can't think it'll do them any good, even if it looks pretty.
I love to rearrange stuff. Sadly the lack of power outlets in this house is really limitin...
I agree on the suggestion for art on the walls. A large painting/print - perhaps you could even paint something yourself to make it a personal statement? - on the wall the bed is running lengthways...
We store right side up, but as they're in cupboards and also used frequently I think that's okay. If they were to be out in the open/less frequently used, then I think I'd want them bottom up.
You have a lovely space! I love all your lamps - though dread to think what your electricity bill must be! I think that the darker colour for the entrance way was a great decision :)
Sorry, I had to vote 'no way' - it's too cluttered and the combination of the doors and the grey makes it look very aged. Surely there are better storage combinations you could employ?
I don't, won't, cook for just me. I don't like it. I'll reheat something I've made a batch of, but I don't like to cook from scratch for just me to eat.

Another vote for Etsy.com here.

Yeah, me too - perhaps you should check the security levels on items prior to posting about them?

No kitchen? D: But. How do you cook and bake?

Your apartment is wonderful! I think your plan to add mirrors to that hallway is a good one :)
I'm so pleased to see this got through! :) Brilliant apartment!

This space feels empty and impersonal to me, so I've had to vote not my thing.
Do you even use this kitchen?

I tend to only use the microwave to make porridge in the morning, and even then, it's not a daily thing.
