Looks like an interesting idea, but @tmdpny has a good point. Another is the size of the slide. Depending on the harvest, the fruit could be of very odd sizes.

A little expensive. $25 for a few pieces of plastic? It does look like a good idea, but a bit pricey for those of us that are trying to save up money. I wonder if they'll make them a bit more inexp...
These have been used in bars for years. Helps the bartenders to measure more accurately and cuts down on waste. These seem to be more geared towards the home.
Probably could have done this at home... but I'm a bit lazy. I like my tea piping hot if possible. My wife on the other hand will be happy to learn this information. She likes soup and tea at room ...
Thank you for this post. My wife is pregnant with our first child and I was curious about the same thing. Might be a bit pricey but probably worth it for that special toast this New Year
I've been debating purchasing one of these for a few years now. I'm not 100% on when or how to use it. Winning one would help me expand my cooking and possibly introduce new traditions into my family.
My wife and I recently made caramel apples and I just used boiling water from my electric kettle for a quick clean. Same concept, just different ways to dissolving the sugar. Give it 10 minutes and...
Do people really use menus? I thought that was just a funny suggestion. Normally we start with what's in the fridge and cabinets... well, what's in the freezer... hmm. Once the meat is chosen we go...
It's a tradition with my family to have coffee after dinner. I can't remember a big meal where it wasn't served, or at least offered. I always thought it was a Southern thing.
I'm curious how long the handle lasts. If it's just using a spring an pin, it should wear out after constant use. Seems like an interesting idea though. Not sure they could pull it off.
That's a gorgeous table. I'd hate to see the collected steam drip from the bowl to the table. I'd make sure that the bowl was slightly smaller than the dish being covered. Or at least have a towel/...
I'm glad that I'm not the only one who saw the connotations with the shape and name of the device. I'm also with @22209, and can't see how this thing keeps liquid from going under the device.

My best was 8" and 10" chef knives along with a pair of large cutting boards (18"X13"). All from my father.

Wow, great idea! Now you know that the ones on top are good. Wish more places did this.
Awesome collection of tools. All of them are things my wife and I use or will use. Thanks for the chance to win these.

They have the same thing for a shower head. Not as good looking though. They sell them here.
