Oh, a double coffin. How restful.
I have to admit, I'm kind of digging the bird bed. I don't think the rest of the room works with it, though, but it would be wonderfully surreal in th...
I guess it's not so bad when the tub is in its own alcove, but if you're going to do that, you might as well just turn the space into a bathroom. But seeing a tub so close to the bed, dresser, etc....
I also like the sofa and restrained color palette. I think the living room would look even richer with a rug, maybe something in a graphic black and white or beige pattern to tie the color scheme t...
With the exception of the many small tables in the living room (I'd prefer a coffee table, but perhaps multiple tables are more useful for M), I really enjoyed this house tour. It's sophisticated, ...

I think I need to do a purge of my own place pretty soon (I'm pretty sure there are clothes, bedding, books, etc. that I don't need). But I was good about getting rid of the stuff at my parent's ho...
Wow, this place is amazing. It's interesting how the white floors and walls make the furniture sometimes seem likes it's floating (not in a bad way). Also, natural camouflage for the big guy.
I heartily agree that sex-based stereotyping of children's toys, etc. can be just as harmful to little boys as little girls. While girls are stuck in a pink princess ghetto, boys aren't allowed to ...
The obnoxious thing is that this kind of stereotyped, sexist marketing continues into adulthood. Dell Computers came out with a laptop which they advertised with a website called
The bedroom colors are a little too vibrant for me, but I thought the living/dining area was lovely. I love that you guys have so many houseplants--they add color and freshness to a mostly neutral ...
Before I bought a wall hook for them, I used to double loop some of my more delicate chain necklaces and hang them around the necks of perfume bottles. It's practical and never looked like a shop d...
Having a hip and edgy place is probably not a priority for a family of six. Also, not everything has to be avant garde or trendy to be interesting. In fact, hip and edgy can be really boring too.

Wait, what? If you bring the umbrella with you, then why would you need it to tell you that it's going to rain?

Agree with the above comments. Those white palm fronds look really cool. I bet this wouldn't be too hard to DIY either.
I've never been a fan of this trend and this is not one of the best examples I've seen of it either.
I think MTV will regret putting in wall-to-wall carpeting.
