I have a huge drawerful of colored cotton napkins. If I take them out of the dryer and fold them while warm, I don't have any troubles with wrinkling. They are pretty old now and quite soft from we...

I think that I was more excited about my china pattern than anything else on my registry. I have a lovely set of Noritake's Barrymore, (discontinued). I love to beautifully set my table for Christm...

Echoing most of arroyo's comments. I have a vintage 50's stove that I bought at an estate sale. Yes, it sucks in the summer because it heats up the whole kitchen, but it is fabulous in the winter f...

Whole wheat rolls with sliced turkey, cream cheese and cranberry sauce (which is usually what I eat the day after Thanksgiving). Be careful carving out those mini pumpkins - those suck...

As karenenen said, keep a list of things they can do, either written or in your head - then you won't be caught short when asked if they can help. We put a linoleum floor in our kitche...

Switched from a chest to an upright. We would lose stuff forever, plus our chest freezer was adjacent to the laundry area and always had stuff piled on top of it. Husband refused to go retrieve thi...

Ladle lover here, for risotto, like porktato, and for stirring and serving soup. Ladle and wisk are both kept in a jug on the counter with other oft-used utensils.

Can you cut them up and flash freeze them (single layer on a baking sheet) for later use?

I make a pork loin roast, with garlic, rosemary and apples, basting the whole thing with cider while it roasts. MMMMMMMMM.

If you wanted more of a finger food, skewer slices of sausage with roasted red peppers. A nice cheese platter with apples - a bowl of assorted apples would be a lovely decoration and m...

Yum! I love Kielbasa and am always looking for a new way to serve it. With pasta - brilliant! Thanks Michelle.

Oven. Then I don't have to clean the inevitably-spattered grease off the stovetop (we won't talk about the inside of my oven).

Those sound great - but now I'm curious, what is your go-to dessert?

Can you temporarily remove the ironing board from that shallow closet? That just begs to be a spice cabinet! Install narrow shelves for the spices. Maybe even take the door off (but store it somepl...

Equal parts dijon mustard and honey, mixed together and brushed on the chicken. Careful, though - the honey causes flareups on the grill, but its worth it!

I take a 32 oz nalgene bottle of iced tea to work each day. Been brewing the tea with warmish tap water. Will try to brew it over night and see if it makes a difference.
