Great to hear this desk has held up! I recently bought the dining table version and have been scared I was going to stain or scratch it.

I haven't used Dr. Sofa, but I know 2 friends that have and were happy with the results. They never responded to my emails for an estimate (after they told me on the phone to send them photos).

Can anyone recommend a good upholsterer in NYC? I have a pair of Louis XV style chairs I would like to reupholster.
