i wish i had taken a better picture of the atomium when i was there many years ago....did you purchase yours, or was it a personal photograph (that maybe you would care to share...)?
i have also seen this arranged a bit differently. two corks vertical, followed by two corks horizontal. helps deal with variances in the corks size as well as add to the design aspect.
