I think its about how dark and ugly it was before to how pleasant it looks now. Not show worthy but the before and after images are pretty drastic which makes good visual content.

agreed! I think since you are drawing in the walls the "drawn" frames don't look as good. I think black shadows of nice oval ornate frames might be a nice contrast to the actual drawing in the walls
