A former roommate and I bought a Karlanda sofa, and it was alright. If you sat and watched a couple of movies, the cushions would squash down and take overnight to plump up again. I think she still...
I agree with Violetsrose -- it's necessary to understand what is being complained about. For some people, *any* sound is too much sound.
I'd also suggest not carpeting (traditionally) ...
Interesting. I've lived in Buenos Aires, and never saw a single recycling bin. There are cartoneros, who rip apart garbage bags left on the street to take out cardboard and paper (yes, this does ma...
Gorgeous bathroom. I wish there was more in the way of accents to the walls, instead of everything matching the walls. For example, love the blue bedroom walls, but the comforter is ick. It would b...
I really like the kitchen, too. This place has really nice *combinations* of color, and that really stands out against many of the other submissions. Very nice.
Cute.
I have to agree, after looking at several submissions today and other days, people really should pay more attention to how they take photos. It's one thing to make a nice composi...
Once again, a single room! This is really unattractive (though, could be the photography), and looks like a second-rate West Elm room. The basic idea is good, but the execution and details (couch, ...
Not really colorful, but very well put together and lovely. And again, where's the rest of the home? It looks like the living room, and maybe a "dining"/piano room?
So there is an orange bedroom wall, a grey wall somewhere, a dog, and a view. How exactly does this show use of color and how it is blended together? Sorry to sound harsh, but a couple of non-panor...
If you'd read my first comment, you'd have seen a suggestion for a humane trap like the one in your "OMIGOD" link.
I really don't see why this guy is getting so much press for this mou...
Really nice, but not quite cohesive enough for me. Some of the color combinations seem a bit odd to me (and not in a good way). Though, I really, really love the entryway.

I want the fuzzy pillows! Does anyone know where they can be bought?

Not enough of anything to see. A bedroom with a brown wall, and some closeups of dresser tops? Definitely not enough to be in the running.
Like others, I like the brown, but there is too much without other accents. I can only imagine this place is incredibly, incredibly dark at night.

That first photograph deserves a prize of its own!!
Really, really lovely. That teal/blue color rocks.

I love this room. However, is one room really enough for entering this contest??? To me, living with color means living with it in more than one room.
Really love this -- especially the dining room. The mix of colors on adjacent walls is really striking and very well done.

Red and that muddy green? Ick. The place looks nice, but I don't think there's really that much color.
