I'm disappointed to see that you would blatantly ignore the electrical code (as you stated about the raw wood). That code is there to protect you from accidents.

I used rubbing alcohol and swabs (qtips for between the keys) on my old g3 ibook. It looked so good when I resold it several potential buyers commented on how clean I kept it.
