Be careful using dishsoap, it can bleach the color right out of your clothes, so you end up with a big white spot!
My condo is small and has an open kitchen with no walls. I love for my friends to come entertain me while I cook and vice versa.
I just don't get the whole shoes-on-the-stairs decorating idea. It looks cluttered and unsafe. And it messes up the beautiful geometry of the stairs.

I have a dress form in my apartment. I hang interesting vintage pieces on it and use it to try out new outfits. I get many compliments on it!
