Great use of the Ikea shelving. I had envisioned doing a similar vegetable garden with that very same shelving, using even the sides rails to grow bean stalks. Maybe next year.
Ikea has similar chairs. They sell the cushions separately. Both the Ikea and Canadian Tire versions are modular so that you can add them together, with or without corner pieces.

I'm Canadian, and, no, we tend not to display our flag as much, but this looks quite nice. As long as the flags are bright and new. Nothing sadder than a neglected, fadded flag.
