Gerber makes these same silicone spoons and I've found them in several grocery stores and discount stores. They are awesome–easy to clean and the flat part is wonderful for scraping sweet pot...

Post-it note? Brilliant!

If I was super rich and had a masseuse that would come to my house, say, every day, I'd want my own table. But I don't know if I'd be shopping in Pottery Barn then. I'd also need a closet devoted t...

I knew them as horse apples and the color is the best!

I am a big fan of bumbos-I've bought them as gifts and won't part with my own, even though my child is now over 2. And the packaging CLEARLY states not to use it on an elevated surface. If a compan...

magneverde, you are so right!

Love the floral vine in Mia's room. The dark vine makes it all work-not too sugary sweet. The animal print room is just a bit much, and I'm not crazy for theme rooms, even nurseries.

Light green and red, then pale blue and red? Never, never, I believed-but you did it and did it WELL. I love it all.

I have recessed cans around the perimeter of bedrooms, kitchen and dining room, with pendants in the center of most rooms, and use lamps as well. Kitchen, hall and dining room have cfls, hope to sw...

I like my catalogs-but I really don't need a new one every other week-how can I stop that? Give me 4 a year-a new one every season-and we'd all be happy. Room and Board does a good jo...

Okay, this is great! Love the chocolate brown, turquoise and red!

Lovely. And you still managed to sneak in the required cat on bed image! ;-)

My mother's home is like this. If she has 6" of free space on a wall, she goes on a quest to fill it. She wanted to keep everything (about 40 hanging frames and art pieces on 7 walls), but wanted l...

A chartreuse can be kinda tricky-if it's too bright, the rug will just look muddy next to it. I like the orange suggestions. If you want to really go for the wow, find the right chartreuse and pain...

This was one of my favorite authors as a child. I have Richard Scarry's Giant Storybook Treasury, and my children love to look at all the wonderful illustrations and have me read the stories. Not a...

I like the view from the brown bedroom to the blue hall to the green living room. I wish this was a contest rule: show the view of two or three walls of the home-it's the best indicator of how some...

I like the creamy yellow tan that shows in the top left for the walls, so the painting will not be lost-so much is whitish grey, red and black. Use all those colors for the rest-an adjacent wall in...

Me, too, pixie.

We have 2, one in our living room that no one watches, and a big one with tivo in my office/kids' playroom that gets the most use. We have loved having tivo, it means we can still watch our guilty ...

Chalkboard paint does come in other colors-green, blue, I think there is even a company that will custom color it. I saw this in Lowe's mailer and loved it, but I know I'd rarely get ...
