Having just had a baby (well my wife, not me), I second the recommendation for frozen stuff. I cooked lots of meals and froze them prior to our son's birth and it was a lifesaver those first few we...
If I make soup in a tall stock pot with lots of chunks that sink to the bottom, I think a ladle is a great help. I don't think a measuring cup would work as well in that case.
What about expiration or "born on" dates on beer? We over-bought beer for our wedding a year ago. I still have about 6 cases of good quality, local beer (River Horse and Flying Fish) kept in my coo...
It's so funny that you posted this today. I went to a local Stop n' Shop and they had a whole section of British food. Maybe there's a local British population I don't know about. I saw this tin an...
This is a pretty common dessert for "raw" dieters. @Loverachel - I probably saw the same grinder device used at a local vegan place. Not sure what it was.
I agree that the shape/style of the glass can at times enhance the experience. One glass that I loved, but didn't buy, are the Pinot Noir glasses I saw sold in Oregon. They hold a whole bottle of w...

I got a 4 lb. bag of organic quinoa for $10. I was pretty stoked about that. As others have said, their prices are great, especially for produce.
I don't peek at carts, but I definitely look at the check-out.
I've been digging the Bob's Red Mill 10-grain cereal. There's a 6 grain and 7 grain I think too.

I knew a woman who gave out little bottles of holy water. No joke!
Stupid question - are those dishwasher safe?
I accidentally leaned on the button of my blender while making pina coladas. The lid was off. Sticky mess everywhere.
Wow, I thought my mom was the only person who owned that colander.
Sounds awesome.

I have a pegboard in my basement stairwell for pots and pans. It works great and is not in the way when you walk downstairs.
I really wish my wife liked runny yolks. She's a "break the yolk" gal. Sacrilege.

This is a good reminder to gardeners and landscapers to know what you plant and always plant native.
My mom makes garlic bread with them. It works best with plain and egg bagels. It's awesome.

I have a tarragon-infused vinegar that I bought somewhere, not sure where though.
