While I prefer "real" flowers when I can get them, I use high-quality fakes or dried flowers to fill in or to ensure I have my favorites around all the time. My favorite flowers are peonies...

Looks great!

That is aaawwweesssommmeee. I love the crisp fabric (could it be sunbrella-type outdoor fabric) and the white looks fabulously clean and is probably easy to touch up when it gets too b...

A couple thoughts: 1. I like the nubby fabric idea - an olive-green colored linen 2. A red - like the Toulouse Lautrec combination seen here:

Anywhere and everywhere. In the bookshelf, on the bed, under the bed, in the window seat, on the bathroom bench, in the garage.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. I already survived it once, maybe that's why it burns my eyes. My husband, who missed it, seems to like it.

Please. White fluffly kitty, dark hardwood floors. Need help.

I use softclaws fairly regularly with my cat. I can put them on by myself. Occasionally if he's in a mood, I use the towel method (kitten burrito-ed in the towel), but otherwise, I simply do what...

Weird, I thought it was directed at me. The name and all. I second the used item selection. Alternately, a cheap desk with a matching file/tabouret type deal might work really well.

I love the headboard system. Doesn't work in my space, but I can see where it could be used to great effect.

I like the idea of a pleated or roman shade that just covers the window area. I wouldn't necessarily duplicate it across the room, but I would pick up colors.

My friend used these at her wedding and no one could tell it wasn't a fresh-cut floral bouquet. Much greener than using flowers that last a day, and it will last a long, long time.

I'm allergic to wasp stings - should I just let nature take its course? Toss the epi-pen and just let evolution take its course? I certainly understand some things - don't park yourself unde...

The blue is also thought to ward off wasps (because the wasps would be tricked into thinking it was sky instead of a dark safe place). The haint blue is also good for making it feel just a bit coo...
