I would say screws but sometimes...depending on the age of the property it's not screws but nails which are more apt to "pull" out of the drywall and studs.
I have a small group of containers I picked up at a thrift store made like this. They even have leather lids....I think 1 of them might have been made to hold tobacco for a pipe smoker...either way...
I like the mouse for the price and if the project is not overly demanding....but hey if it burns out on the first project bring it back! And it'll need more sanding then after you're all done sandi...

Why not buy the Ikea recycle bins? Starting at around $12 a bin depending on the size they have served us well in our home and business.
I got a couple of barrels free from a car wash....1 was a little sudsy the other no problems and they work great.
