I have the 'watermelon' one. Definitely changes the focal point of a room, and it's 'neutral' enough that you can build a lot of looks around it.

Oddly enough, over here in Malaysia, stacked residences such as these are referred to as 'townhouses'.

It doesn't look vintage to me. There's been a lot of similar designs coming out of China for the past few years. Many variations of this sputnik theme - some with multi coloured crystals.

Was about to say that it's Habitat, which means it's hardly expensive - unless the retailer in the US has done a huge markup.

Umm do they really move that far apart? floor surface too slippery? I've used those rubber grippy sticky pads for furniture before. Cheap, and they work pretty well.
