Except possibly that condo. My apartment didn't even have an oven or freezer...
I've never had a problem with pickpockets...if you don't dress in your standard tourist clothes or go around yelling in English, you won't stick out like a wealthy American and nobody will bother you.

i know at the strand you can custom-order used books by the color or by the style, in case you want to decorate your house but don't actually want to read any books
