Here's something different. If you want to use wallpaper. How about wallpaper that resembles a european city. Check out Cole & Son as an example.

I would LOVE to live in a neighborhood like that. In Toronto, by Ashbridges bay beach, there are rows of townhouses that are all different colors. If I had a million dollars I'd live there.
