It's very rude to demand ANYTHING of one's guests, period. I don't have any desire to walk around a party in my socks, and I wouldn't dream of asking anyone else too either.

What an interesting space. I have to say, though, that the bathroom is just too much for me. The thought of having that wall open...I couldn't do it. I do love the dining area, though.

Granted, nearly anything would have been an improvement from what they had, but still...this is pretty uninspired. The fakey laminate floors and that terrible window treatment are really bad.

Suddenly it's as hip to bash Eames and MCM design as it was a few years ago to collect shell chairs, it seems. As far as I am concerned, these designs are classic, beautiful, and just plain "good"...

Yes, there are a lot of iconic pieces here...but so what? They work! I think it's lovely and inviting.
