Just wanted to add that in the right room, accent pieces might work, but I think this is one pattern that could get overpowering in a hurry.
Maybe if it was just a little bit like a bag or scarf, but the head-to-toe is a bit much for me.

Deep purple seems to be one of the "It" colors this fall.
For some reason, this makes me think of Rainbow Brite. Especially the picture on the right.
We use pine straw for mulch and there is plenty of it where we live. Here in the Southeastern US, there is no shortage of pine needles.
