Yep, fractal broccoli. Only it doesn't hail from north Italy, but from Latium (if it's called "romanesco", id est from Rome, there must be a reason, don't you think?).

Chianti is quite overrated, I'd suggest a trip to Lucca and its surroundings (the Garfagnana area) instead -- especially Borgo a Mozzano and Barga.
Doesn't your food get all squashed and messy when carried in a bag? I still prefer Lock&Lock food containers, much better than a bag.
